Starting this week on a new project building a new snare. This time it will be an 14 x 5″ oak snare drum. In the picture you see it clamped in my self build jig to round the outside. More pictures will follow of how it develops. I am planning to design new stainless steel lugs on my Lathe. The idea is to design a single pint lug for a minimalistic look. And maybe I will finish the outside of the shell in red. Hope you like it! 🙂
